Sending Indigo hugs and kisses.
I'm not actively participating in the newest alphabet challenge. , but you turn the lips right and they could be a B :-)
I chose not to crop this scan, because I like the faint, ghost image of a bra shape in the background.
Thanks for the comment lately. I do appreciate them.
This is an example of the type of BLING! you can send to Indigo for her fund raiser. I bought this at a Thrift store. BLING! can be just about anything, IF it can be attached to Indigo the bra. Look thru your old jewelry box You could use an earring that lost its mate.) Go to a thrift store. Make it yourself. It isn't about spending money on a piece of BLING!. It is about offering your support. It is like sending Tina a card wishing her a speedy recovery, instead of that card, you can send something tangible to make her smile or laugh or just feel loved.
Why is it a fund raiser? One reason is I need to do this for a class this semester and I might as well do a real fund raiser (as opposed to a pretend one where I create the concept, etc.... but never try to actually raise money.) It is something I could put in a portfolio eventually. Other reasons are financial. Since I won't be receiving as much financial aid to attend college this semester, I need a small amount of money to keep the Sisterhood going. I also will have to supplement my income while I am under going treatment.
I have been asked what I will do with both Jennifer and Indigo when this project is over. I've thought about that. I've also been told people might be more willing to contribute to this project if the money were to go to El Jay in some way. Therefore, when the project is over, the final step should be to have an art gallery showing and Jennifer and Indigo will be sold and that money will go into a college fund for El Jay.
Comments and ideas are appreciated. This is still in the creative stages. However, I would love to start receiving BLING! It would not only lift my spirits, but give me examples to work with as I create the media I will use.
You can BLING! to Tina Gardner, PO Box 12413, Albuquerque, NM 87195.
