Posing With An Important Announcement.
You can fill in the blank (I cropped out the last word....)
My car needed to go into the mechanic for some TLC. I saw this sign and a couple of the sisters volunteered to pose.
Can't sleep yet. Still sort of taking a break and cutting out a lot of stuff. Posting here today, but I'll be on the go all day and do not plan to comment. I just wanted to share one of the images I caught today with the Girls.
The last few days have been hectic. I am looking forward to slowing down on Sunday. Yesterday I had a sense of accomplishment, though, and that is good. I feel very blessed. One uplifting thing is I got my grade back from the group oral report I did in my History of media class. I got 50/50 pts. I really stressed over the presentation. I hate public speaking. I hate working in groups, but my team did well. The professor said that ours is the best one so far out of both of her History of Media classes this semester and the best one comparing early advertising campaigns that she has ever seen in her class. She made a point of personally telling me how well I had done after class. She said I had a really good style. She also said another student had commented to her that he thought i had done extremely well and asked if I was one of the Communications-broadcasting students. LOL. Well, getting positive reinforcements is nice. Did I say already that I hate getting in front of an audience?I am a sort of shy person face to face. All I remember is saying that before we discussed the early advertising tactics of Kodak that I felt it was important to share the history of photography leading up to George Eastman introducing rolled film... after that my five minutes is a total blur.....when I handed the next part of the presentation off to the last person in our group, I remember hoping I had talked slowly and clearly.... but I got 100%, so I must not have rushed thru. I must have made eye contact, smiled, not looked scared to death, etc... :-)
