Morticai supports the Sisterhood of the Traveling Bras. He was the proud sponsor yesterday of Indigo, Dorothy, Jennifer, and Juno.
Morty says, "Hey Dudes, please, support the Sisterhood in any way you can. It is a fun art project and a good cause--because it makes my GrandPurrrrri smile. I like to see her smile."
Morty (Morticai for long) said he helped because cats are naturally curious and there might have been food involved. He had fun directing me as I draped the Girls on the clothes line. He was very specific about how I should do this and even insisted on my sitting in the dirt to get a better shot (like this one with him in it) He came over and sat on my lap while I scratched him between the ears as his reward for being the best host ever. Love you Mr. Mort. Thank you for supporting the Girls at the Sisterhood of the Traveling Bras.
ANYONE or anything, for that matter, can host Jennifer in her travels. The photo shoot doesn't need to be anything elaborate and time consuming. Morty liked the idea of staying in our yard and posing the girls on the clothes line. If you are too embarrassed to sponsor a bra and lug her around to your local sights, then get creative at home. If you don't want to lend your name to this project? Have your pet or favorite stuffed animal or even your own bra be the host. Come on people, this could change your life ;-)
Jennifer is leaving for Giddings, Texas in a few days to attend a breast cancer event; after which, she will head to Linda (finally.) Jennifer is looking for hosts starting the first week in November thru the end of the year. Her host is required to attach some BLING! to her. It can be anything. It represent where you live or a cause you value. It could simply be a pin you find in your jewelry box or you get at a thrift store. The host then takes a picture of Jennifer. She loves to sight-see, but you can get creative and pose her anywhere. I only require one picture (but most hosts send me several.) No is permitted to wear her, but I don't mind if there is a picture of Jen with her host. I encourage people to do the shoot soon after Jennifer arrives and then to get her in the mail to her next host--otherwise she tends to get forgotten and I have to get pushy to get her back on the road..... Each host is responsible for paying for shipping Jennifer to the next host. In the USA the total for shipping and her BLING! can be as little as $15.
